It is now as smooth as glass...I recommend it.
Have an RX-7 I found on the internet.

Mine looks to be pitted but the car only has 55k kms. Wonder if clay would help it still.

Shouldn't your windshield be that smooth anyway?

Were you able to get rid of those horrible almost permanent wiper streaks?

Won't help with the pitting, but it will help with anything stuck to it, which is probably more than you think.

That's what I'm thinking. I should do it.

I forgot I wanted to do that! Maybe tomorrow I'll try it

I live in Los Angeles, I've driven this car in the rain less than 10 times, so no wiper streaks. But I do think it helped with the weird waterspots that it gets.

somwthing thats overlooked that you actually should do. I clay thw whole fuckinf car when I do it. Every inch gets gunked up.

Yeah, I've always meant to do the windows but I never have. The rest of the car gets clayed and waxed twice a year, but from now on I'm going to do it 3 times a year.

Now, go coat that thing in a nano coating.
I love nano coatings.
Too much water? Just drive faster, it'll bead off on its own :D

Used to do that when I lived in Texas and drove a Delta 88 with wipers that would not turn off once you turned them on. I don't have much of a water problem in LA though.

I clay evety timw I wash it. I always slack on clean8ng it so by the timw I get to it I need to clay it anyway.

Why wouldn't you just hit it with a razor? It seems like claying would take so much more time. Thats what Larry Kosilla would do anyways

There is no way that cleaning a window with a razor would be faster than clay. It might be better, I don't know, but definitely not faster.

I've done this. I can vouch for how well it works.

Did you wax it afterwards? Use a good synthetic wax, and you won't have to use your wipers for a couple of months.

I've always just used 0000 steel wool to clean the windshield. Faster easier and cheaper than screwing around with a clay bar.

I didn't wax it. I didn't really know you could wax windows. I probably won't have to use the wipers again until October anyways, so I'm not too worried about it.

Does that get rid of that effin' road film that is impervious to all other chemicals...?

Yeah. I use it on glass, chrome, and even that shitty plastic chrome stuff you find on grilles etc with no scratching.

Gonna have to give that a try, thanks.
